I'm alive, I've got good job prospects (had a few meetings this month with prospective employers).
Likely in January I'll be doing tryouts for a few places (doing projects for them but as a contractor). If they like me, One may hire me.
If not, I'll go work in another field (but not likely, I /am/ good at what I do).
So all in all, the last 3 weeks have been good for me.
Baby-making attempts are going well...
